“Louie and Honey #1” captures all the little details that make the mother-daughter shop what it is. The bustling coffee bar, the French inspired art on the back wall, the beautiful paned windows— the only thing not pictured is their world class cinnamon rolls!
Heather paints each coffee shop piece using espresso from the shop that she’s painting. Once the layers of espresso dry, she uses ink pen to bring objects and details to life. What started as a playful endeavor turned into a desire to capture as many Winston-Salem shops as possible.
Because each piece was created without the intention to sell, the size of the pieces is roughly 5.5” x 7.5” and would require custom framing. While you are welcome to purchase the piece as is, I also offer the option to matte and frame the piece for you.
